Joyce Sack-D'Annibale

Mrs. D'Annibale is a past president and is currently Co-President (2008-09) of the Schenectady Art Society. She has always been immersed in art. Family obligations precluded Joyce from becoming actively involved with the art community until recently. She studies pastels with Elizabeth Apgar-Smith.

She decided that entering competitions was the best way to build her credentials. During the last ten years her works have appeared in numerous juried competitions winning a total of Eighty Six awards, including three best of shows and the George Weinheimer Memorial award from the 2000 Schenectady Stockade show. Her work can be seen in the Local Color Gallery,Latham, New York.
